Mon Tout Rose 750ml
Strange Love Rosé is a curious blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Karridale, and a touch of White Grenache from the Swan Valley. It might seem strange to make rosé from Chardonnay but we believe there’s a natural synergy between Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that’s worth exploring – and we loved the results.
We chose Chardonnay for its fresh citrus fruit notes and lightness, and for the a solid foundation to build upon. Pinot Noir brought colour, notes of berry fruits, a soft perfume and a savoury edge; while the Grenache imparted distinctive notes of cherry liqueur and fruit, and gave the wine a rich texture.
Dusty rose petals, orange blossom and wet stone rise from this delicate wine, with flavours of gentle, raw summer berries, a twist of citrus and a dash of savoury herbs. Silky and soft in the middle, and then balanced with a fine mineral dust acidity to give a crisp, clean finish.
- Varietals and Regions : Chardonnay 45%, Pinot Noir 42% from Karridale and Grenache 12% from the Swan Valley.

From Mon Tout themselves:
“We’re lucky to have access to some minimal intervention vineyards across Western Australia – from The Great Southern to Margaret River and it’s surrounds. Each year, we sample and closely follow the season and find the best fruit we can to make our wines. The resulting wines can be blends or straight varietals, it’s part of the fun, hard work and unknowns of each wine and vintage.”
